Our 10s raid leader is a far better person than I am. So tonight we got most of our original group together with a new healer, and got Algalon to 26%. Which is our best so far, considering we hadn't really gotten that much practice beyond someone getting gibbed at 90%, I'd expect him down next week.

Our....Dk.... was recording most of the night, and put up a vid of the best attempt. For whatever reason I'm actually pretty quiet, all you can hear me saying is calling out 3 stacks of phase punch, a taunt, and at the end MOONFAYRE SPAMMM, as well as two sort of "OH" statements that I'm sure were some great revelation that I can't recall.

1. How do you have the patience to level so many alts and get them geared? I suck at it.
I can actually only really stand to do one or the other. I was keeping track of my five 80s (most of the private locked posts here are spreadsheets of upgrades for every single one), and usually just using the druid for hard raiding, then PuGGing heroic dailies, 10 toc, vault, etc on the other four for badges. I started to feel really stupid, because it's all going to have to be done again in 3.3. So *boot*. Back when I started it was a goal of mine to have every class to 60, and I decided I just wanted to relax and kick back. Leveling zones are buttfuck empty these days. It's very quiet, you have it all to yourself. When they all get to 80 I'll go back to gearing, because I'll never want to level again.

2. What is your most hated font besides Papayrus?
Comic Sans. It's the font everyone picks because they think it's synonymous with 'fun' or 'children'. Be creative pplz.

3. We seem to have similar backgrounds about meeting our boys in vanilla and dancing around the friends question forever - what made you decide to finally meet up?
He was going to start college and I had this vision he was going to meet someone else.

4. You like pets a lot, specifically birds - when did you get interested? Was your family interested as well? (I just was limited to feeding/taking care of the Pekin ducks next door, that eventually migrated over for the food.)
My mommy worked for the humane society in our city. She brought home everything that wasn't adoptable. One of my first birds was a parrot who ate a canary. Her name was Pickles. She was evil. Mom has a far larger flock than I'll ever aspire to, many of whom may actually outlive her. D'oh.

5. Do you enjoy tanking or dpsing more?
DPS foreverrrrr. Tanking is this thing that drives me up the wall but I'm unfortunately really good at it. I tank because it's painful to watch other people try :\

Amy! you cry Surely you're not whining about the 'Instance Server Full' error!

Why no, dear reader. I am not. Last night, our instance server died. Completely. Trying to zone in froze you for about two minutes and gave you a 'transfer error'. Strangely enough, Naxx was the only instance working on the entire realm. Ulduar, heroics, VoA, OS, Maly, normal instances - everything but Naxx and heroic nexus (wtf?!) was down.

Did I live? Sure. But only just.

Edit: Apparently it was all of Reckoning and Cyclone having this issue last night :3.... LOL and after I went to bed it appears northrend crashed for our realm in particular. Whoooo.

The simple answer is the posts you can't see are me copy and pasting compiled theorycrafting into my journal from work so that I may access it and organize it from home - the most recent one in particular being so large that I've only gotten through two of the sixteen sections.

The obvious answer is I'm talking about you behind your back on a super secret friends filter that includes everyone but you.

The guild I'm trialing for is more hardcore than I'm used to. Vent is absolutely silent except for instructions. I went on Ulduar10 with them, not sure what to expect of this.

Razorscale - down in one turret round
Ignis - down in under 4 minutes
Hodir - Hard mode
Thorim - Hard mode

I can't tell if they like me or not. I don't feel like I'm doing stellar, but I rather enjoy the no-nonsense attitude they take - it pays off. They raid less than the last two guilds I've been in but are ahead of them in realm progression.

I bet I'm not good enough. I'm rather hard on myself. I bet all the mistakes I make they don't even notice. But *I* notice and it frustrates me, so I imagine it must frustrate them, too.
